Set on 20 acres of beautiful manicured grounds, there are several exclusive onsite guest facilities. Please note: The abbey is almost 150 years old, so there is no lift/elevator. Our apartments and cottages are located in various parts of the abbey and grounds, and there are both ground-floor and elevated options. For step-free access only, please see The Nave and Club Cottage. All accommodation is self-catering, however there is a restaurant on the abbey grounds and plenty of places to eat and drink in Fort Augustus.

Fort Augustus village facilities

The abbey is located in the village centre of Fort Augustus, where you’ll find plenty of facilities and amenities. The village lies on the southern tip of Loch Ness, on the Great Glen Way and Caledonian Canal. It’s a vibrant tourist spot with plenty of shops, restaurants and attractions, and bus links with Inverness and Fort William.
